Catching Fire

The book I read was Catching Fire, the second to The Hunger Games series, by Suzanne Collins. This book is about 17-year-old Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark after their win at the 74th Hunger Games. Also, it's about the districts, including 13, and their acts of rebellion towards the Capitol and more of the love triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale Hawthorne. If this book were to be categorized, it would be found in the Sci-fi/romance section.I chose this book because I enjoyed The Hunger Games and wanted to finish the series.Catching Fire is 391 pages long. I'd give this book 4 and 1/2 stars, there's a couple parts that get a little confusing.

In Catching Fire, the districts begin to rebel against the Capitol and now Katniss is now forced by the President to make it better. Also, two of the main characters go into the Hunger Games...

Two things in this book that I liked was that it's very suspenseful and makes you want to keep reading all the time and at the end there's a complete turn of events that changes the Hunger Games forever which is really interesting. Two things I didn't like was that at that end part, it's a little hard to follow but it gets explained later on. Also, people die in this book that I didn't want to die.): The age group appropriate for this book is maybe 14 and up. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Obviouslt Hunger Games Fans would like this book but Stephenie Meyers loved this book so maybe Twilight fans would like it too.
